Two Causes, One Mission
Bully Blasts were created to stand up for dogs that are too often misunderstood while honoring the veterans whose courage, service, and sacrifices should never be forgotten.
The veteran side of this mission is deeply personal to me because of my father, Robert Keith Lehnen, who served as a Navy navigator during the Vietnam War.
My father helped navigate a large ship up a river to rescue soldiers when others were unwilling or unable to send help. He and the other service members involved were willing to put themselves in danger to help people in need.
Years later, I learned that my middle name, Wyndell, came from one of my father’s fellow service members. I believe he may have been one of the soldiers connected to that rescue.
Carrying his name has given me an even deeper appreciation for the bonds formed through service, sacrifice, loyalty, and the willingness to help others when they need it most.
That same spirit is at the heart of Bully Blasts.
